Coffee and Beefsticks

Here’s a beginner of some of the questions that have come down the line for the strip and crew so far.

What exactly is Lork?
– A green, mess of an E.T. who has gotten a little caught up in Earth’s dirty business.

How long have Wade and Franklin known each other?
– They have been best friends since they were in kindergarten.  Franklin always needed help hauling his lunch pail up the steps of the elementary school and Wade would get roped into it.

Who is Jessie based on?  Someone you know?
– No, she is more a medley of different women I know, and just decided to mash them all together.

Can you put me in the comic?  Can I be a character??
– Sadly, I cannot add a you in.  Lork either ends up turning newbies into animals or Franklin eats them

How long have you been drawing?
– I started when I was a wee lad, scribbling with crayons eventually moving up to the digital world.

Do you attend any conventions?
– I never really got too far into it, but I have been working to rectify that.

How did you come up with a name like Coffee and Beefsticks for a strip?
– I was eating beefsticks…..and drinking coffee….and was trying to come up with a name for the strip…..boom

Do you write your comics out or do you just go strip to strip?
– I sometimes have a general idea, maybe a small story arc running along, but mostly I try to be funny on the fly…..I do really try.

What software do you use?
– Adobe Photoshop.

Will you go have a couple beers with me?
– On 2 conditions.  #1 you’re buying and #2 We must have wings
